Halifax-built since 2009
FindStorageFast helps Canadians compare self-storage prices at more than 500 facilities across the country, from national brands to independent local operators, then sends you directly to the facility to book online or by phone. It's free to use.
We started in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and we know Canadian storage from the inside: our founder developed and operated storage facilities before building FindStorageFast. That experience shapes how we show prices, promotions and options, so you can make a confident choice.
Live prices and move-in promotions from our partners, so you can compare unit sizes and features side by side, then book directly with the facility.
We work closely with the country's major storage operators and with independents, so you see more of your local market in one search.
You never pay us to search or compare. Facilities pay us when we connect them with new customers.
Built by people who've developed and run storage facilities, we know what renters should look for, and what questions to ask before moving in.
Our Founder
Co-founder and CEO, FindStorageFast
D'Arcy Hunter came to FindStorageFast from the operating side of the industry. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he developed and operated self-storage facilities, handling everything from site and build decisions to setting rates, running promotions and filling units.
In 2009 he co-founded FindStorageFast with his brother Duncan Hunter to make storage easier to compare. Today he works closely with Canada's major storage brands and leads FindStorageFast across Canada, the US, the UK and Australia.
D'Arcy writes about Canadian storage demand, pricing and moving, particularly the student move-out season in university cities.
Connect on LinkedInFindStorageFast works closely with Canada's leading self-storage brands, along with independent operators in communities across the country. We pull live prices from our partners and send you directly to their booking platforms to reserve.
